Theopoetics Conference: Oakland, 2019
Amy will be leading a workshop at the 2019 annual Theopoetics Conference in Oakland, CA this March 22-24.
Her workshop, called “Redeeming Logos: Finding Poetry in Discarded Words,” focuses on two types of found poetry—blackout/erasure, and cut-out/découpé, both of which Amy has done in her own practice. She will talk about the different types of found poetry and how this can be part of a prayer or meditation practice, and participants will have the opportunity to create their own found poetry.
